Nearly two-thirds of all employers now offer a work-from-home option, at least for some of their employees. But few employers provide their staff instructions on how to be most productive and satisfied working remotely, and most employers don’t know how best to manage their far-flung team members. Teresa Douglas, who has worked from home since 2010, recently co-wrote a book, “Working Remotely,” to help employees and employers alike navigate the shoals of off-site workers.
